How the horsefly trap works
:The dark ball in the centre of the trap simulates the hindquarters of a horse. The horseflies can only distinguish between light and dark contrasts, similar to thermal imaging cameras. To increase the attractiveness of the device and the delimitation of the lure, the protective cover is white.
The sun heats up the ball: the horsefly does not resist, flies towards the supposed victim and tries to find the best place to sting.
As soon as the horsefly notices that it has made a mistake, its inability to fly acrobatically traps it: it can only fly upwards and is directed into the capture box by the protective cover.
The trap allows a reduction of 95% of horseflies, which can represent 200 to 300 horseflies per day!

Precautions for use
: horseflies like wet places (ponds, puddles, etc.). Locate these places in order to estimate a trajectory towards the target.
Place TaonX on this trajectory, preferably as close as possible to places where people or animals live (stables, gardens, etc.). Depending on the size of the

, you will need several traps.

Check the trap every day/week to empty it and, if necessary, fill it with soapy water.
Set the horsefly trap at the right time, before the female horseflies fly (from April onwards).
