GOLD 1&2 mash is a complete starter and grower feed for laying hens.

To ensure the well-being of your laying hens and chicks, use Versele-Laga® brand starter meal. This chick meal has many advantages. It guarantees the good development of your breeding, without excessive weight gain. For that, adapt the portion according to the age and the breed of the animal, between 10 to 80g/day. Mash flour prioritizes balanced development over rapid growth. For natural growth, coccidiostat-free products are used. It favors a progressive ingestion of the feed, facilitating digestion and offering a better consistency of the droppings. This product should be used from day one until the start of egg laying, approximately 18 weeks.

Advice:

- The chick meal can be accompanied by the feed supplement Grit (Ref 283.0255), which you leave available for the birds. Grit has a positive influence on the skeleton and the formation of the eggshell.

- Chickens should never lack fresh water.

- For an optimal development and an iron health, it is imperative to take into account the life phases and periods of your poultry.
