Your sliced vegetables will be firm and they will keep all their flavours.  Stainless steel pans with a triple diffusing bottom: stainless steel/aluminum/stainless steel.  By using a saucepan, you can cook food in an efficient and healthy way, thanks to an even distribution of heat, and with a minimum of fat or grease. Saucepans are also convenient for slow cooking, simmering, sautéing and reheating foods. 

Straight shape saucepan. Bakelite handle.

For successful cooking: Preheating is very important. If the stainless steel pan is not hot enough then the cooking surface will be slightly porous and food will stick. By preheating your pan, your cooking surface will be smooth.  All burners including induction.
