The 100% natural barnyard litter comes from reed crops (Myscanthus) in the following regions: Brittany, Normandy, Picardy, Alsace, Franche-Comté and Île-de-France.
The farmers cultivate this sterile and non-invasive reed without fertilizers or pesticides and earn a fair income from its cultivation.
The environmental impact is very positive because each ton of litter has sequestered 2 tons of CO2 during its growth.
This litter is compostable and biodegradable in 2 years in the open air, like dead leaves.
