Full Description

Electronarcose stunner new model : The stunner is a device allowing to stun all the poultries before bleeding them: Quail, Lean duck, Fat duck, Duck, Rooster, Hen, Chicken, Capon, Poulard, Pheasant, Gander, Goose, Peacock, Partridge, Perdreau, Pigeon, Guinea fowl and the rabbits

Very simple operation

The start of the tetanisation cycle is done by simply pressing the start button. The LED display allows you to see the intensity of the device in real time.

Multi-species

The stunner allows the animal to be anaesthetised by an electric shock to the brain. Simply position the head between the 2 electrodes and start the cycle. It is suitable for all poultry and rabbits. The device is not approved for turkeys.

Data storage

In this new version, the VE Memory stunner is equipped with a data storage on USB keys.
This complies with the current legislation on slaughtering.
A software is available free of charge to visualize the data in graphic form

Safety in use

The stunner is designed to provide optimum safety for the user if the instructions for useare followed.

When holding the animal during the anesthesia cycle, the operator cannot feel the electric current.

For gallinaceous birds:

Hold the bird with one hand and, using the other hand, insert the head of the animal into the V of the electrodes until the head is wedged. The electrodes must be on both sides of the head. (The head, not the neck). Once the animal is well positioned, give an impulse on the "START" button while holding the animal with your hand for a few seconds (2 to 4 seconds), then let the animal hang until the end of the cycle (10 seconds). That is, until the intensity lights are off. Once the cycle is complete, unhook the animal and bleed it immediately.

For palmipeds:

The procedure is the same as for gallinaceans. Only the positioning of the animal's head differs. Indeed, the animal must be placed in profile so that one electrode is under the beak and the other in contact with the neck.

For rabbits:

As some rabbits have a very thick coat (therefore a poor conductor of electricity), it is recommended to wet their temples with a spray bottle or a damp sponge. This allows a much more efficient and quicker anesthesia. The rabbit is held by the back legs with one hand and by the ears with the other. Insert the head into the V of the device. Press the "START" button to start the cycle.

To be able to read the anaesthesia data, it is necessary to download a free software from the website: www.faf.fr . It is also possible to read the data in text format on a computer. On the back of the stunner, you will find a trap door. Once this one is opened (to do so, you have to unscrew the 4 screws), you will have access to the USB key. To view the anaesthesia data, disconnect the key from the stunner, then plug it into the USB port of your computer and start the software or open the text file directly. We advise you to empty the data from the key once a year. After opening the cover, make sure to close it tightly.

MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the unit after use. After switching off the appliance, wash with a sponge and detergent, then rinse. Do not use pressurized water. It is possible to change the set of jaws (electrodes) when they are worn.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
All persons using the unit must wear gloves, boots and an apronas required by law.
This unit is electrically powered. Do not use it near liquids.
