Full Description
Ultra preciseadjustment
of 1/10th of a degree.
Operation:
Adjustment of the temperature by 0.1 degree.
Temperature indication in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit (optional).
Calibration of the indicated temperature.
Manual adjustment of PID values.
Self-tuning
Why is this thermostat so special?
A normal thermostat almost always works through a relay. This means that the interruption of the heat source is set for a period of time, which very often leads to temperature fluctuations. In addition, the post-heating of the heat source amplifies this problem.
This thermostat is equipped with a proportional controller (PID controller)
.When you switch on the thermostat, the heater will heat up to 100% until the set temperature is reached. From that moment on, the thermostat will only give small bursts of current to maintain the correct temperature. The setting of this small "current surge" can be changed manually and consists of 3 parts, also called PID in short.
P (proportional bands), I (integration time), D (delay time).
These values are factory set and normally do not need to be changed
.In addition: the thermostat has a "self-adjusting" function which is controlled by a microprocessor that automatically adjusts the temperature values when required.
Very simple installation
