This is the newest version of the PID controllers, with display in Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees!
Now with improved PT-100 sensor. Equipped with several functions, like a double display and an output for an alarm!
This is a new generation of incubator thermostats, which are specially developed for us. The quality is very high and the price very competitive. What is so special about this thermostat? A common thermostat almost always works with a relay. This is a common thermostat that switches on/off and where there is a predetermined period of time between switching the heating on and off. Often, because of ҫa, temperature fluctuations occur. And, because of residual incandescence, this problem becomes even more serious. Our thermostat is equipped with a proportional controller (PID controller). When you turn on the thermostat, the heating starts to work at 100%, almost up to the set temperature. From that moment on, the thermostat will only give small "electric shocks" to maintain the temperature at the right level. The parameter of these "electric shocks" can be modified manually. It consists of three parts, the abbreviation of which is called PID. P stands for Proportional band, I for Integration time and D for Delay time. These values are already configured by us and should not be changed, theoretically. In addition, our thermostat is equipped with a self-adjustment function (Auto-Tune function), in which the microprocessor automatically sets the correct values. Many PID controllers have a so-called solid state relay as a switch. This type of switch is very expensive and not necessary up to a power of 400Watt. Our thermostat has a TRIAC switch and an output for a solid state relay! The TRIAC output can be used up to a power of 400Watt. The SSR output can be used from 400Watt and must be used in combination with a SSR drive.
The sensor of this thermostat is a PT-100 sensor with a cable length of 150cm. The sensor has a stainless steel case, so that temperature changes can be registered very quickly. The thermostat has two displays. One for the reading of the programmed value (SV/green) and one for the reading of the real value (PV/red), which must be monitored. The temperature range of this thermostat is between 0.0 and 50.0 degrees Celsius (or 32-122 degrees Fahrenheit). The setting and display is per 0.1 degrees. You can change the temperature by pressing the "UP/DOWN" key for two or three seconds. After a few seconds the programmed value will be stored automatically. To change/configure the other functions, you must press the "SET" button for a few seconds. This will take you to the menu, where you can change the 25 different functions
Temperature setting alarm (output for relay).
Setting in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Cooling temperature (relay output).
Locking (PIN code).
Calibration.
Setting of
I. Setting of D.
Setting of D.
Setting of auto-tuning (self-programming).
Hysteresis setting.
Minimum temperature setting (0°C).
Maximum temperature setting (50°C).
The functions nr. 1 to nr.5 can be visualized by pressing the "SET" key and using the PIN code "0". All functions can be viewed by using the code "808".
Unique to this thermostat is the automatic modification of all settings (nr.1, 9, 10 and 11) when changing the display from Celsius degrees to Fahrenheit degrees and vice versa. The PID settings (nr.5, 6 and 7) are already configured by default by us. It can happen that the temperature is not stable enough. In this case you can use the "auto-tuning" function, in which the microprocessor searches for the right parameter. After changing this parameter, this function will automatically change the PID parameters. It is always difficult, not only for you, to set the optimal configuration for an incubator or another device! You can reset the parameters at any time manually! So be sure to note all programmed values, before changing them (manually or automatically with the auto-tuning function).
This thermostat is equipped with, among other things, a temperature alarm contact (maximum temperature). Thus you can connect an alarm system, which will warn you when the measured temperature is higher than the programmed maximum temperature.
Installation dimensions: 93x46 mm (maximum opening). External dimensions of the display: 96x48 mm. To be installed simply in panels with a thickness up to 10mm, or up to 45mm using longer bolts (M3)!
