Cage supplied with an additional, practical interior mesh partition. To use the crate as a training crate, it's important that the puppy is contained in a small space. The puppy feels reassured and won't get into mischief when you're away. In this way, he learns to behave while you're away. After a few months, he'll be able to stay in your home, out of the crate, without damaging your interior.

As the puppy grows, you can remove the removable partition. This means you can invest directly in a crate of the right size for your adult dog.

Steel dog crate for dog transport and relaxation:

To ensure your dog's safety when travelling, a quality crate or carrier is recommended. When using an indoor crate for your pet, a crate adaptation is not to be overlooked. The aim is for your dog to find its way naturally into the crate, which will become its space of comfort and relaxation. A dog crate is a happy place, not where you send a puppy when he's misbehaved. Avoid associating the crate with a prison for bad dogs. Reprimand the dog well outside the crate and let things settle down. Then praise him when he enters and stays.

Measure your dog's size before choosing a crate!

The first step in choosing a crate for your dog is to know its size. To find out, take a tape measure and measure your dog as follows:

- Height: from head to leg.

- Length: from head to tip of tail.

To make sure your dog doesn't feel too cramped, the crate should be 15 cm larger than your dog's measurements. If your dog is still young and has not yet reached adult size, we recommend a dog crate a few sizes larger. There are different sizes of dog crate available, and whatever your dog's adult size, you'll find the right model for him.

Transporting your dog by car?

An unrestrained dog in a car can be a nuisance and a danger to the driver. Transport crates are the most widely used for safety, and are available in a range of sizes. Metal crates are extremely stable and long-lasting. They do not require regular cleaning, but are significantly heavier than plastic models. Allowing good air circulation, these dog cages are also suitable for outdoor use, weather permitting.
